Eden Sessions 2013
Eden Sessions 2013 (3rd Jun - 2nd Jul) Some massive names have been chosen as headliners for Cornwall's premier series of concerts based at the iconic Eden Project. On 29th June, Kaiser Chiefs will raise the dome's roof, Sigur Rós play on the 30th and The xx perform on 2nd July. Tickets for the shows cost £35 upwards.
Gottwood Festival 2013
Gottwood Festival 2013 (20th - 23rd Jun) Anglesey will host this huge electronic-music weekender featuring dozens of names from various labels including Ben UFO, Extrawelt, Luke Vibert, Marcus Intalex, Crazy P, 2 Bad Mice, Ed Mackie, Bicep and many more TBC across various stages. Weekender tickets cost from £95 and are available now.
All Tomorrow's Parties - curated by Deerhunter
All Tomorrow's Parties - curated by Deerhunter (21st - 23rd Jun) The second of two spring/ summer ATP weekends will take place at Camber Sands in June and will be governed by US alt-rockers Deerhunter, featuring a show from their offshoot project Atlas Sound. Tom Tom Club, Kim Gordon, William Basinski, Oneida (with Rhys Chatham) and Dan Deacon join The Breeders (featuring the same line-up as for 1993's 'Last Splash' - in its 20th year) Panda Bear, Pere Ubu, Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier and Tim Gane, The Black Lips and more. Tickets for various berth sizes work out at £170 per person for the weekend - available now.
The Hidden Hill Festival 2013
The Hidden Hill Festival 2013 (21st - 23rd June) Set in the Lincolnshire Wolds (at a secret location near Caistor), this small capacity (just 1000 people) festival will feature an eclectic line-up comprised of the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Public Service Broadcasting, Hexstatic, Ulrich Schnauss and plenty more musical, cultural and informative distractions throughout the weekend. £69 for weekenders or £35 for day-tickets.
Mosborough Music Festival 2013
Mosborough Music Festival 2013 (22nd and 23rd Jun) Sheffield's Mosborough district will host this two-day festival which concentrates on local artists as well as internationally-renowned ones. Reverend and the Makers will headline Saturday night, while Paul Heaton will head-up Sunday with support from Neville Staple, Exit Calm, The Bedroom Hour, The Darlingtons, The Rainband, Modern Faces and many more across the weekend. Tickets cost £25 per day or £45 for a weekend pass.

Glastonbury 2013 (26th - 30th Jun) returns with a bang after a break in 2012. Celtronic 2013 (26th - 30th June) Londonderry will once again host this eclectic electronic music festival, bringing big names from around the world including Metro Area, Henrik Schwartz, DJ Hell, John Talabot, Space Dimension Controller, Jon Hopkins, Boxcutter, Andy Votel, Nina Kraviz and many more. Prices start at £12 per show.
Hard Rock Calling 2013
Hard Rock Calling 2013 (29th & 30th Jun) moved from Hyde Park to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the 2013 editions. The event will feature the recently-added Lower than Atlantis and Jack Savoretti joining Kasabian, Paul Weller, Miles Kane, Klaxons, The Cribs and many more on the Saturday, with Passenger now added to Sunday with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Alabama Shakes, The Black Crowes and many more. Tickets cost £45 for the Saturday, £62.50 for the Sunday.
GhostFest 2013
GhostFest 2013 (29th & 30th Jun) Leeds University will once again present the latest edition of the metal weekender which includes Terror and The Devil Wears Prada as headliners, plus slots from The Acacia Strain, Bury Your Dead, Malevolence, Iwrestledabearonce, Veil of Maya and many more. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £37.50 for both days or £25 for each.
Manchester International Festival 2013
Manchester International Festival 2013 (4th - 21st Jul) Billed as '18 extraordinary days of world premieres and special events', this huge event is the cultural jewel in Manchester's crown, covering all bases from music to theatre. To prove the point, Macbeth featuring Kenneth Branagh, The xx performing several intimate shows in residence and Massive Attack V Adam Curtis in a show that explores hallucinations, are the first big names out of the hat. Tickets on sale now, from £30.
The Hop Farm Festival 2013
The Hop Farm Festival 2013 (5th - 6th Jul) Kent's Hop Farm has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales. The event was to have featured My Bloody Valentine, Rodriguez, The Horrors, Edwyn Collins, Dinosaur Jr., Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and many more. Ticket holders should contact their point of purchase for a refund.
Love Supreme Jazz Festival 2013
Love Supreme Jazz Festival 2013 (5th - 7th Jul) Sponsored by Jazz FM and due to be staged at beautiful Glynde Place in Lewes during the height of summer is this inaugural major jazz and blues festival. Bryan Ferry heads-up the Saturday, joined by Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Michael Kiwanuka, Marcus Miller, Robert Glasper and many more. Sunday sees Jools Holland and his Rhythm 'n Blues Orchestra who will be joined by Esperanza Spalding, Melody Gardot, The Brand New Heavies, Branford Marsalis Quartet, Terence Blanchard, Andreya Triana, Soweto Kinch, Josephine and more. Day tickets cost £54, with weekend/ camping options coming in at £108/ £120.
Mostly Jazz, Funk and Soul Festival 2013
Mostly Jazz, Funk and Soul Festival 2013 (5th - 7th Jul) Moseley Park will once again host a weekend of, well, jazz, funk and soul, featuring some of the biggest (and upcoming) acts in the field. And they don't get much bigger than Chic featuring Nile Rodgers who will headline the Saturday night, with Soul II Soul in support. Friday's line-up has yet to be announced, but Sunday will feature a slot from DJ Craig Charles. A weekend ticket costs £85, or you can plump for a day ticket for £35 - £37.
Beat-Herder Festival 2013
Beat-Herder Festival 2013 (5th - 7th Jul) Billed as "3 days of beats and barminess in lovely Lancashire" and based near Clitheroe in the rather picturesque Ribble Valley, Beat-Herder will hopefully be a bit drier this year (compared to 2012). The line-up is yet to be announced (2012 featured Orbital, Death in Vegas, Lee Scratch Perry etc) but tickets are on sale now priced at £105 (£20 for 12s and under).
The National Forest Folk Festival 2013
The National Forest Folk Festival 2013 (5th - 7th Jul) How does three days of modern and traditional folk music suit you? Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire is the setting and the National Forest Folk Club is the venue for a trio of days devoted to the likes of Bellowhead, Monster Ceilidh Band, Home Service, Dan Walsh, Norma Waterson, Eliza Carthy, Tír na nÓg and The Demon Barbers. Tickets cost just £16 - £25, depending on the day.
Cornbury Festival 2013
Cornbury Festival 2013 (5th - 7th Jul) There's a terrific line-up of familiar household names just announced for the family weekender held near Great Tew in Oxfordshire, including Squeeze, Keane and Van Morrison as headliners, plus Imelda May, Beverley Knight, The Overtones, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Proclaimers, Lawson, James Arthur, Amy MacDonald, Bellowhead, Seth Lakeman and lots more. Weekend Passes cost £160/ £190 while day tickets cost £70 for Friday and £80 for either Saturday or Sunday. VIP options also available.
Maverick Festival 2013
Maverick Festival 2013 (5th - 7th Jul) Based in Suffolk at Easton Farm Park, this weekender is dedicated to country and roots-music from both sides of the Atlantic. The performers confirmed for 2013 include Ruth Moody, The Good Lovelies, The Carrivick Sisters, Neil Innes and many more. To keep within the spirit of the music, you can buy Nighthawk Friday tickets for £15, Rustler Saturday tickets for £30 or Ranger/Wrangler weekenders for £45 and £69.
Live from Jodrell Bank 2013
Live from Jodrell Bank 2013 (6th Jul - 30th Aug) Sigur Rós (30th Aug) were the first name out of this year's dish-shaped hat, with New Order (7th July) and The Australian Pink Floyd Show (6th July - playing a 'Dark Side of the Moon' set) the new additions. Support for the New Order date will come from Johnny Marr, The Whip and many more. Tickets cost £39.50 for the New Order date, £35 for the others.
Kew the Music 2013
Kew the Music 2013 (9th - 14th Jul) West London's beautiful open-space has added three big shows to its roster - The Human League will be joined by '80s icon Howard Jones on the Wednesday evening, Leona Lewis will perform on Saturday (guests TBC) and folk heavyweights on the closing Sunday will feature Bellowhead and Billy Bragg. Tickets on sale now. Blondie with Hugh Cornwell will appear on the opening Tuesday, while Paul Weller (Thursday - £39.50) and Jools Holland and his Rhythm 'n Blues Orchestra (Friday - £37.50) complete the line-up.
Henley Festival 2013
Henley Festival 2013 (10th - 14th Jul) Pop on your best bib and tucker, dress to impress and charge your glasses with a vodka martini because James Bond is coming to the Henley Festival! A Bond extravaganza with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is just part of the line-up that also includes The Beach Boys (minus Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and David Marks), Madness and Paloma Faith, plus comedy from Barry Cryer, Rich Hall, Alexander Armstrong and more. T in the Park 2013
T in the Park 2013 (11th - 14th Jul) 2013 heralds the 20th year for the Balado bash, and the organisers have already named Kraftwerk, The Killers, Mumford and Sons and Rihanna as key acts and headliners. New additions include My Bloody Valentine, Fidlar, Trash Talk and more plus Frank Ocean, Rita Ora, Tyler the Creator, Beady Eye, Stereophonics, Chase and Status, Editors, Frank Turner, Frightened Rabbit, Modest Mouse, Emeli Sandé, The Script, Alt-J, Paloma Faith, Two Door Cinema Club, Azealia Banks, Richie Hawtin, Palma Violets, Rudimental, Disclosure and many more. The Summer Series 2013 (11th - 21st Jul) Almost two weeks of music has been confirmed for another season at London's stunning Somerset House starting with Alex Clare on 11th July, followed by Band of Horses, Lianne La Havas, Richard Hawley, First Aid Kit, Of Monsters and Men, Tom Odell, Jessie Ware, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Goldfrapp and Basement Jaxx. Under the Bigtop 2013
Under the Bigtop 2013 (12th and 13th July) Founded and based in Sheffield, the city's Graves Park will host this weekender of music from the area and beyond. Levellers will appear on the Friday with Bison as support while local hero Richard Hawley returns to his hometown on the Saturday with the amazing Tom Hickox in support. Tickets cost £25 and £26.50 per day respectively.
Wireless Festival 2013
Wireless Festival 2013 (12th - 14th Jul) Sunday's The Legends of the Summer with Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, A$AP Rocky and Rizzle Kicks has been extended to include special guest will. i. am and Misha B - tickets are still available for the day priced at £75. Friday's solo Timberlake show has Ke$ha, Wretch 32, Conor Maynard, Snoop Dogg etc, while Jay-Z's Saturday has Macklemore, Flux Pavilion, Zedd, Emeli Sande, Rita Ora etc. Friday and Saturday tickets are now sold out.

LeeFest 2013 (12th - 14th Jul) Noisettes have been unveiled as this year's headliners, alongside Delphic, Public Service Broadcasting, Fiction, Stanton Warriors, King Charles, Clean Bandit and many more. Warlingham's LeeFest manages to sell allocations pretty quickly - the last release of tickets are on sale now, priced at £70 for adult weekenders, £45 for teens and free for 12s and under!
NASS Festival 2013
NASS Festival 2013 (12th - 14th Jul) Somerset's annual sports and music festival makes its return to the Royal Bath and West Showground in the summer with headliners that include Nas, Katy B, Hadouken! and Monsta plus Loadstar, We are the Ocean, George Watsky, Heaven's Basement and indoor arenas featuring Andy C, Shy FX, Benga, DJ Marky and many more. Thurs-Sun tickets cost £92, Fri-Sun £82 and VIPs from £129.
Wakestock 2013
Wakestock 2013 (12th - 14th Jul) The superb beach at Abersoch's Llyn Peninsula in North Wales will once again host this wakeboarding and music weekender. Example is headliner alongside Magnetic Man, Bastille, Rudimental, Wiley, Wretch 32, Lucy Spraggan, Willy Moon, Zane Lowe, Jackmaster and The 1975 will feature during the weekend, with more to be announced soon. Magic Summer Live 2013
Magic Summer Live 2013 (13th & 14th Jul) After the untimely demise of GuilFest in 2012, 2013 sees Guildford getting a festival after all - and it's a biggie. Bryan Adams and Jamiroquai are the headliners, supported by James Morrison, Joss Stone, Kim Wilde, Level 42, The Overtones, Soul II Soul and Squeeze with more to be announced in due course. Tickets on sale now, £60 per day or £110 for both.
Larmer Tree Festival 2013
Larmer Tree Festival 2013 (17th - 21st Jul) Salisbury's annual boutique festival returns with a hefty selection of performers including headliners Dexys, Seasick Steve, Bellowhead and two more for Wednesday and Saturday to be announced. You can also see KT Tunstall, LAU, Gentleman's Dub Club, Treetop Flyers, Larkin Poe, The Beat and lots more. The various weekend ticket options range from £140 for a 3-dayer or £215 for a week-long Holiday pass.
Hebridean Celtic Festival 2013
Hebridean Celtic Festival 2013 (17th - 20th Jul) Once again some big names have been chosen for the 2013 Celtic/Gaelic inspired weekender on the Isle of Lewis. Van Morrison, Capercaillie, Battlefield Band, LAU, Dougie Maclean Project, Karine Polwart and The Travelling Band will feature throughout from Thursday to Saturday. Most (but not all) shows take place in Stornoway with arena tickets costing £75 for the whole festival or £30/ £34 for day tickets.

Latitude 2013 (18th - 21st Jul) Henham Park in Suffolk will once again host Latitude during July. 2013 will see Grizzly Bear, John Grant, Richard Thompson, Rudimental, Stornoway perform with headliners Bloc Party, Kraftwerk (3D show), Foals plus Modest Mouse, Alt-J, Beach House, The Maccabees, Hot Chip and more. Lovebox 2013 (19th - 21st Jul) This year's emphatic weekender, celebrating its 10th year, has added Lil' Kim, Horse Meat Disco and Andrew Weatherall's A Love From Outer Space to the Sunday line-up. Gentlemen of the Road 2013
Gentlemen of the Road 2013 (19th & 20th Jul) Demand for tickets to this Lewes-based stopover will increase now that organizers and curators Mumford and Sons have copped themselves a Grammy Award for "Babel". Camping has already sold out, leaving two-day non-camping the only option at £75. Vampire Weekend perform on the Friday evening, Mumfords on Saturday with guests including The Vaccines, Mystery Jets and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
Abbeyfest 2013
Abbeyfest 2013 (19th - 21st Jul) Set in the heart of Suffolk in Bury St Edmunds, Abbeyfest keeps it folky and family-friendly with an array of like-minded acts from across many eras. For 2013 you get perennial entertainers Chas and Dave, pivotal singer and performer Kate Rusby and the Irish legends from the Dubliners, Cannon, Campbell, Watchorn and O'Connor formerly of the Dubliners, all performing on the Friday. More names will be announced soon - meanwhile, tickets are on sale now at £34.50 for Friday.

Deer Shed Festival 2013 (19th - 21st Jul) More names have been added to the North Yorkshire festival, including king of the comebacks Edwyn Collins, plus The House of Love, King Creosote, Sweet Baboo, Phantom Band and more joining Darwin Deez, Gaz Coombes and The Unthanks. Tickets start at £79 and rise in price as each tier of tickets sell out.
Music on the Hill 2013
Music on the Hill 2013 (19th - 21st Jul) King's Hill in Kent is the setting for this charity music weekend with a cracking pop line-up. Jools Holland and his Rhythm 'n Blues Orchestra will headline the Friday evening (£36), while Saturday features two big names in McFly, who play a set in the early afternoon (£30) and Peter Andre who performs in the evening (£33). Sunday is 'Family Summer Sunday' with StooShe, Gareth Gates, Ben Mills and Joe McElderry appearing from 1pm onwards (£28). Tickets on sale now. Demelza Hospice Care for Children, Teens Unite Fighting Cancer and The Children's Development Trust are the charities which will benefit.

Folk by the Oak 2013
Folk by the Oak 2013 (21st Jul) What better way to spend a summer Sunday than lounging around in the gardens of Hatfield House watching some of the coolest folk acts around. The event will include a premier league line-up of Kate Rusby, LAU, Oysterband, Martin Simpson, Jim Moray and Eliza Carthy, Kate Young, Lucy Farrell and Bella Hardy appearing as The Fiddle Girls. Hevy Fest 2013 (2nd - 4th Aug) Stop Press: The metal and rock festival has been forced to abandon its new venue (and weekender) due to a license problem and instead run Hevy-related shows in London utilizing the bands that were already assigned to the original line-up. Thus, Killswitch Engage, Comeback Kid, Hatebreed, Sylosis, Heights [hardcore] and others will perform live at Brixton Academy on 4th August (£28) - tickets on sale now - with Horse the Band selected as headliners for a show at The Borderline on 3rd August (£14). All Tomorrow's Parties - I'll Be Your Mirror 2013 (2nd Nov) After being postponed (originally due to take place in May), Grizzly Bear will finally get their chance to curate this rescheduled event, the line-up and venue for which will be announced in due course. Tickets are on sale though, priced at £59 each.

London Jazz Festival 2013 (15th - 24th Nov) This globally-recognized annual series of concerts continues to up its game with an envious line-up that includes Hugh Masekela and Larry Willis, Arild Andersen, Wayne Shorter, Tigran Hamasyan, Brad Mehldau, Madeleine Peyroux, John McLaughlin and Zakir Hussain (as Shakti) and many more. Vans Warped Tour 2013
Vans Warped Tour 2013 (16th and 17th Nov) Alexandra Palace will host this year's huge punk/pop/rock gathering in the autumn. Saturday highlights include Rise Against (also performing on Sunday), Parkway Drive, plus Yellowcard, Billy Talent (both of whom also play Sunday), Chiodos, Memphis May Fire, FACT, The Wonder Years, Itch and more while Sunday has Enter Shikari, Coheed and Cambria, Anberlin, The Maine and many more. ATP - The End of an Era Part 1
ATP - The End of an Era Part 1 (22nd - 24th Nov) The first of two farewell festivals from ATP will be curated by their Catalan colleagues at Primavera Sound 2013 and will star Television performing their radical "Marquee Moon" album, plus Thurston Moore's Chelsea Light Moving, Mike Watt, Dinosaur Jr, Oneohtrix Point Never, Les Savy Fav and many more fan and curator favourites from across the past decade-plus. ATP - The End of an Era Part 2
ATP - The End of an Era Part 2 (29th Nov - 1st Dec) The second of two farewell festivals from ATP will be curated by noise-rockers Loop (reformed this year) and will feature The Pop Group, 23 Skidoo, Fennesz, Thought Forms, Dirty Beaches and many more due to be announced. From £170 upwards.

Mallorca Rocks 2013 (4th Jun - 17th Sep) This year's incredible and varied line-up includes shows from Beady Eye, Jake Bugg, Biffy Clyro, Bastille, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah, Franz Ferdinand, The Courteeners, Dizzee Rascal, Example and many more. Tickets are on sale at around £35 - £45 each.
Ibiza Rocks 2013
Ibiza Rocks 2013 (5th Jun - 18th Sep) Sister festival at Mallorca Rocks 2013 has headline shows from Rizzle Kicks, Foals, Jake Bugg, The Vaccines, Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, Franz Ferdinand and more. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £35 to £45, depending on performer.
Live at the Marquee
Live at the Marquee (12th Jun - 6th Jul). Now in its ninth year, Cork's big event in its musical calendar will include concerts for Olly Murs (12th June), The Wanted (16th), Elton John (23rd), Elvis Costello and the Imposters (26th), a rare return for ZZ Top (27th), Sting (1st July) and concerts from Irish favourites Christy Moore and The Coronas. Prices vary from €35 to €90.
Sónar Festival
Sónar Festival 2013 (13th - 15th Jun) The 2013 version of Barcelona's Sonar marks the 20th anniversary of the festival and has now grown with further announcements. As well as the superb headliners Kraftwerk and Pet Shop Boys, Skrillex, Major Lazer, Soulwax, Diplo, Derrick May, AlunaGeorge, Seth Troxler, TNGHT and Laurent Garnier will appear at some point during the festival. Weekend tickets are on sale now, priced £157.
Hideout Festival 2013
Hideout Festival 2013 (3rd - 5th Jul) Perhaps one of the first Eastern European music-festivals to announce its line-up and what a belter. The Croatia weekender will feature Loco Dice, a DJ set from Chase and Status, Modeselektor, Jamie Jones, Andy C, Joy Orbison, Erol Alkan, Toddla T, Eats Everything, Justin Martin and lots more in a similar clubbing vein. It all takes place on Zrce Beach near Pag and tickets cost £109/ £114.
The Garden Festival 2013
The Garden Festival 2013 (3rd Jul - 10th Jul) returning for its eighth year is Croatia's Garden Festival, taking place at The Garden in Tisno. The 2013 line-up is to be announced, but judging by last year's line-up (Nicolas Jaar, Crazy P, Yesking, 2020 Soundsystem, Kenny Dope and more), it should be pretty darn good. Tickets cost £105 for all eight(!) days, with day passes ranging from £15 - £35.
Eurockéennes de Belfort 2013
Eurockéennes de Belfort 2013 (4th - 7th Jul) Based near the French town of Belfort, this large mixed festival will gather key acts such as Blur, The Smashing Pumpkins, Jamiroquai, Phoenix, My Bloody Valentine, Alt-J, The Vaccines, Deep Vally, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Trash Talk, Two Door Cinema Club and many more. Tickets from €45.
Exit Festival 2013
Exit Festival 2013 (10th - 14th Jul) Serbia's big Exit grows every year with 2013 looking to be a serious international contender with Atoms for Peace, Bloc Party, Fatboy Slim, Snoop Dogg, Cee-Lo Green, Eric Prydz, Seth Troxler and loads more across the five days. Tickets cost £95 or an extra £25 for camping in the designated 'village'.
Fresh Island Festival 2013
Fresh Island Festival 2013 (10th - 13th Jul) The island of Pag off the coast of Croatia will once again open its dunes to a few days of rapping and clubbing, including first headliner Snoop Dogg who will perform on the Wednesday night at the Papaya club. Other big names will be announced in due course - meanwhile, tickets are dirt-cheap at just £40 for standards or £50 for VIPs.
Bilbao BBK Live 2013
Bilbao BBK Live 2013 (11th - 13th Jul) In addition to headliners Green Day, Depeche Mode and Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, White Denim, Jamie N Commons and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros will form a line-up that also features Editors, Two Door Cinema Club and more. Tickets are now available for the full three days, priced at £77.
Electric Elephant 2013
Electric Elephant 2013 (11th - 15th Jul) Croatia's coastal town of Tisno will once again be hosting a weekend of dance acts from across the globe during the summer. The 2013 line-up includes some big names including Mr Scruff (his EE debut), Andrew Weatherall, Frankie Knuckles, Unabombers, Justin Robertson, Krysko and DJs from the Kompakt stable including Michael Mayer and Tobias Thomas. For an entire weekend, you need only pay £110 per ticket.
Optimus Alive 2013
Optimus Alive 2013 (12th - 14th Jul) Following on from last year's success, the Portugese festival has announced Green Day as the Friday headliners, Kings of Leon as the Sunday head-liners, Depeche Mode to headline Saturday, with Two Door Cinema Club, Alt-J and Of Monsters and Men also added to the potent mix. Tickets to the ever-popular Lisbon weekender are on sale now, priced at £103 for a 3-Day Camping pass (£89.30 without camping) or just £45 per day. This is bound to be a sell-out.
Super Bock Super Rock 2013
Super Bock Super Rock 2013 (18th - 20th Jul) Lisbon's Meco Beach will host another edition of this varied music festival that features international and locally-sourced acts. Headliners are Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and Queens of the Stone Age, plus Johnny Marr, Kaiser Chiefs, Azealia Banks, Josh Wink, Ricardo Villalobos, TOY, Efterklang and many more. Tickets cost from £41 per day or £77 for 3 days of camping.

Benicàssim 2013 (18th - 21st Jul) Added to the rapidly-expanding line-up are Beady Eye (Friday), Beach House, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Rudimental and And So I Watch You From Afar (plus others) who will join Queens of the Stone Age (Thursday headliners), Primal Scream (Friday), Arctic Monkeys (Saturday) and The Killers (Sunday), plus Azealia Banks, Jake Bugg, Palma Violets, Bastille and many more. The Friday headliner will be announced in due course. Tickets cost £150 (includes camping) which includes a total of 8 days camping!

Soundwave Festival 2013 (18th - 22nd Jul) Croatia's Petrcane peninsula will host another eclectic club-orientated dance-fest next summer with the line-up already looking promising. Key acts confirmed so far include Bonobo (live set), Submotion Orchestra, Channel One Soundsystem, DJ Cheeba, DJ Craig Charles, Riot Jazz, Anchorsong and many more TBC. Tickets cost £119.

Longitude Festival 2013
Longitude Festival 2013 (19th - 21st Jul) Ireland will now be getting a taste of what the UK has been experiencing with Latitude - Dublin's sister festival Longitude. The inaugural 2013 line-up starts with a treat - Kraftwerk will headline Sunday with a 3D concert, with Phoenix headlining Friday and Vampire Weekend on Saturday, plus Foals, Hot Chip, Villagers, Mark Lanegan, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jake Bugg, Jessie Ware, SBTRKT, Modest Mouse, Django Django and more. Tickets for this no-camping festival cost €129.50 for the three days or €44.50 for each day.

Midi Festival 2013 (26th - 28th Jul) The first names set to grace the French Riviera during the summer include The Horrors, King Krule, Mount Kimbie, Justin Martin, Peter Hook and the Light, AlunaGeorge, Christopher Owens and lots more TBC. For full admission across the three days, you need pay only £67 (or less for reduced admission - no afterparties etc) - a bargain (excludes camping).

Tomorrowland 2013 (26th - 28th Jul) The aptly-named town of Boom in Belgium is the setting for this mammoth electronic dance music festival spread over the last weekend in July. Headliners are Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and Steve Aoki with old and new legends such as Joey Beltram, Dave Clarke, Hardwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Knife Party, Benny Benassi, Alesso and Mauro Picotti among the names. Tickets now sold out.
Stop Making Sense 2013
Stop Making Sense 2013 (1st - 4th Aug) Croatia's annual electronic-dance music festival kicks off at the beginning of August with another eclectic selection of DJs including Radio Slave, Ame, Appleblim, Will Saul, Lindstrom, Dixon, John Talabot, Steve Bug and many more throughout the weekend. Tickets for the four days cost £120.
Indiependence 2013
Indiependence 2013 (2nd - 4th Aug) Based near Cork, this annual gathering focusses on independent music from all genres and features De La Soul and Bastille as headliners, as well as The Fratellis, We Are Scientists, And So I Watch You From Afar, Beardyman, Paddy Casey, Mmoths, Funeral for a Friend, Foy Vance, Krafty Kuts and more. Tickets cost €99 for a camping ticket, €79 without.
Sziget Festival 2013
Sziget Festival 2013 (5th - 12th Aug) The 2013 instalment of Budapest's premier music festival offers up the first of several headliners - Blur. This will be the band's umpteenth European festival appearance, fuelling speculation they may play at a UK one. But, at £39 per Day Ticket, you might be better off flying to Hungary to see them! Their chosen day is yet to be confirmed by the organizers though, so perhaps a 5-day/full-week pass would suit you better - prices range from £145 to £170. More names TBC in due course.

Flow Festival 2013 (7th - 11th Aug) More names are now being added to the Helsinki fest on a regular basis. Cat Power has just been added, along with Ravi Coltrane, Jacco Gardner joining Kraftwerk, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Azealia Banks, Of Monsters and Men, The Knife Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Kendrick Lamar, Beach House, Solange, Karenn, Blixa Bargeld, Factory Floor, Moderat, Austra and many more. Tickets cost £130 for a three day pass and £150 for a four day pass - the opening Wednesday concert from The Knife (plus others) costs £47.
La Route du Rock Festival 2013
La Route du Rock Festival 2013 (14th - 17th Aug) Now in its 23rd year, the 2013 line-up for this French fest includes Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tame Impala, Disclosure, Efterklang, Julia Holter, Hot Chip and many more. A 3-day tickets costs just £68.

Electric Picnic 2013 (30th Aug - 1st Sep) The 2013 event (the 10th anniversary) will once again take place in Laois, Ireland and will feature an impressive line-up including Fatboy Slim, Björk, Arctic Monkeys, My Bloody Valentine, The Knife, Franz Ferdinand, Wu-Tang Clan, {David Byrne and St. Vincent}, Eels, The Strypes, Noah and the Whale and much more. 3-day camping costs €229 - there is an instalment plan available.

Unknown 2013 (10th - 14th Sep) From the same people who brought you Field Day, The Warehouse Project and Hideout, comes a new Croatian club-music and art festival. New additions Richie Hawtin, The Horrors, Factory Floor, Tiga, Justin Robertson and more will be joining Disclosure, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Django Django, Jessie Ware, Todd Terje, Jamie XX, Four Tet, Floating Points and Julio Bashmore are just some of the choices this year. Early Bird Tickets cost £99 for the weekend.
