Good things come to those who wait.

It's been five (long) years since UK soul/funkster Omar last released a studio album ('Best by Far'), but the wait is over. Sing (If you want it) is out on UK label Ether Music on the 15th of April.

Widely regarding by those that recognise good music, as one of the UK soul/urban/funk music scene's leading lights, it remains to be seen whether this album will provide Omar with the commercial rewards of 'There's Nothing Like This'.

Sing (If you want it), his fifth studio album features collaborations with US superstars Stevie Wonder and Angie Stone, and the UK artists: Common, Rodney P, Ashman, Estelle and JC Bentley (who has also been collaborating with Frank McComb).

The first single to be release will be 'Gimme Sum' featuring Common, Rodney P & Ashman, with tour dates for Japan and Europe to be announced shortly.

Tracks:

  1. Lift Off
  2. Sing (if you want it)
  3. Be A Man featuring JC Bentley
