Pink, who embarks on her 'I'm not dead - Live!' winter tour today at the Wembley Arena, has just added extra November dates in Bournemouth, Brighton, Birmingham and Glasgow. The tour also includes dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Cardiff.
Ex-ParliamentFunkadelic funkster Gary 'Mudbone' Cooper will be the support act for the dates. As well as working with George Clinton and Bootsy Collins, he has collaborated with Prince, the Ramones, Bill Laswell and the Black Crowes. His new album Fresh Mud, produced by Dave Stewart was released this monday and features guest appearances from Bob Dylan, Jools Holland and rapper Nadirah X.
Mudbone:
I’m really looking forward to playing in the United Kingdom again and to visiting Dublin. It is a great honour to be invited to tour with Pink and I appreciate the opportunity that she and her management have given to me. I’ll be playing some songs from my new album and also some Funkadelic classics and I will be joined on stage by a unique and powerful band and original Funkadelic Billy Bass. Be prepared to join the Fresh Mud revolution!
