INXS announce intimate European tour

Press Release

INXS, the world renowned Australian rock band today announced their first European tour dates since 2002. The band who are in the midst of a sold out North American tour, will perform for the first time with their new lead singer, J.D. Fortune, who won the coveted role of stepping into the void left by the late Michael Hutchence in last year’s wildly successful TV show Rock Star: INXS.

Kicking off at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Thursday October 12th, this first jaunt back on European soil for 4 years will see INXS play a series of highly intimate venues as they reconnect with their ardent European fans. Tickets go on sale Wednesday May 3rd via fanclub pre-sale, and Friday May 5th to the general public. The tour follows hot on the heels of the UK September 2006 release of the band’s eleventh studio album 'Switch'.

Other than the UK date, the tour will also take in: Amsterdam, Gent, Copenhagen, Zurich, Milan, Oslo, Stockholm, Barcelona, Hamburg, Berlin, Koln, Munich, Warsaw and Paris.
