Kerrang awards winners announced

The 13th annual Kerrang awards winners were announced yesterday evening, with Welsh band LostProphets scooping the coveted 'Best British Band' and 'Best Album' awards. Muse grabbed the 'Best Live Band' award, with My Chemical Romance winning the modestly tiled 'Best Band on the Planet' award. Bring me the Horizon were awarded the 'Best British Nwecomer' award and Aiden nabbed 'Best International Newcomer'.
AC/DC's Scottish guitarist Angus Young was awarded the 'Kerrang! Legend' award and Slayer were inducted into the 'Kerrang!Hall of Fame'.
