Save the Astoria!
News
In June 2006, property developer Derwent Valley purchased the legendary London venue The Astoria on Charing Cross road. Whilst they have not yet announced their purposes for the site, it is (rightly) raising fears in London music lovers that:
- it's in a prime location
- it could well be a victim of 'crossrail'
The Astoria has been going for a long, long time, and has always been renowned for it's diverse range of concerts.
