Brian Wilson to perform 'Pet Sounds' for 40th anniversary
News

In order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of what some feel is the best album ever recorded - Pet Sounds - Brian Wilson will perform a one-off date in the US (Royce Hall - Los Angeles) performing the album in it's entirety plus a few other selected songs.
The album, released in 1966 was Brian's baby from the start, since he had stopped touring with the band in order to write, record and produce the material for the album, which included such tracks as 'Wouldn't It Be Nice', 'Sloop John B' and the sublime 'God Only Knows'. There are almost 80 personnel listed in the creation of this massive music project, which also spawned the amazing 'Good Vibrations' which Brian decided not to include in the album (it was later included in the album 'Smiley Smile').
The support act for the night are Mercury award nominees Scritti Politti.
