Help/ Frequently Asked Questions

Gigs/ Tickets

Where Are My Tickets?
We do not sell tickets directly, so we cannot unfortunately provide any information regarding tickets you have purchased. If you have purchased tickets through a link on this site, it will have been via TicketLine, TicketMaster, SeeTickets or SeatWave. Here is how you can contact them: If you cannot remember through whom you purchased the tickets, please let us know the date of purchase and we will try to provide the correct contact. Note that most suppliers will email you confirmation of your ticket purchase and there will generally be a note detailing how to contact them within this email.
Do you have tickets for [insert band name here] ?
Two ways to find this out: enter the band name in the "Site Search" box - just under the tabs at the top of the page
Or go to Search => Gigs, then enter the band name. There is a "Tickets" button next to all entries for which we have tickets.
Expensive Tickets?!
Some of the events we have listed with tickets available have a price higher than the original face value of the ticket. We only list such tickets when all of the alloted tickets to the event have sold out and are unavailable directly.
The higher price of the tickets reflects the "market rate". We only list such tickets from reputable agencies which have a ticket promise, so you can be sure you will get your tickets. We hope this adds extra value to our service to you, where previously we would just list the event but have no means for you to purchase tickets.

How Do I Get My Band/ Venue/ Event on allgigs?
We have a page dedicated to this subject.
Can You Add My Press Release?
The short answer to this is: more than likely, provided your copy does not go overboard on hype and sticks to the facts. Most importantly: it must be event-related, as that's what this site is all about. Penis enlargement press release? No thanks.

Reviews

Review My Band!
If you would like us to review a disk/ live gig which you are performing, contact us, and don't forget to provide as much info as possible about the band/ disk/ gig. Ideally, your website will contain some samples - making it easy for our reviewers to know whether-or-not they dig your groove, so to speak.
I Want to be a Reviewer!
Great! So the first few things to note are:
  • Reviewers are not paid for reviews submitted, but on the flip-side, you get free stuff (CDs, DVDs gig tickets)...
  • Only reviewers based in the UK/ Eire will be considered
Our requirements are not exactly strict, but - for obvious reasons - we need people with a reasonably strong grasp of the English language and grammar - a passion for music/ the arts also helps.... We have quite a diverse selection of music available for review - as a quick glance at our reviews page will verify. If you are interested, please check our review/ reviewer requirements, then contact us via this link: I Want to be a Reviewer!

Can We Exchange Links?
