The 2015 festival season is all set to start early on. Already, the overseas music festivals are the first out of the blocks with initial line-ups confirmed with UK festivals following suit in due course.

Wee Dub Festival
Wee Dub Festival (6th Mar) in Edinburgh with Earl Gateshead, Channel One Soundsystem, Mungo's Hi-Fi and a whole plethora of roots, dub and soundsystem luminaries. The festival takes place at various venues in Edinburgh's Old Town district.
Takedown (7th Mar) in Hampshire with Charlie Simpson, Mallory Knox, Fearless Vampire Killers, InMe, Bleed from Within, Baby Godzilla, Rolo Tomassi, Fort Hope, Zoax, Decade, The One Hundred, Devil Sold His Soul and loads more.
C2C: Country to Country
C2C: Country to Country (7th & 8th Mar) to feature Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Brandy Clark, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert and Kip Moore in the UK at London's O2 Arena and Ireland at the Dublin's 3arena in March 2015. Tickets on sale now.
HRH AOR (12th - 14th Mar) in Pwllheli with FM, Hardcore Superstar, Night Ranger, Crashdïet, The Poodles, Romeo's Daughter, H.E.A.T, The Wild Lies, Sister, VEGA, Crazy Lixx, Falling Red and more. Tickets cost £99 for two day tickets, £69 for Friday/ Saturday tickets.
Convergence (13th - 21st Mar) back for 2015, Convergence focusses the spotlight on electronic artists in venues across London, featuring Gary Numan (now sold out), Tricky, Darkstar, Andrew Weatherall, Pantha Du Prince, Franck Vigroux, Portico, Kiasmos, Matthew Bourne [musician], Noise of Art, Clark, Matthew Herbert, Vessels, Zomby and more.
HRH PROG (19th - 21st Mar) in Pwllheli with Rick Wakeman, The Enid, Steeleye Span, Mostly Autumn, Touchstone, Magenta, Lifesigns, Jump and more. Tickets cost £99 for two day tickets, £69 for Friday/ Saturday tickets with limited two-for-one tickets available for £49.50 for two day and £34.50 for day tickets - subject to availability.
Resistanz Festival (3rd - 5th Apr) The annual Industrial/ EBM festival will take place in Sheffield once again in April. Tickets now on sale.
Hit the Deck Festival
Hit the Deck Festival (26th Apr - Nottingham) This years line-up includes Skindred, While She Sleeps, Cancer Bats, Frank Iero, The Early November, The Swellers and more. On sale now, also takes place in Bristol.
Impericon Festival (4th May) Early-bird tickets now on sale for Manchester's annual Impericon Festival. The 2015 line-up is to be announced, 2014 featured Bury Tomorrow, Terror, Deez Nuts, Stick To Your Guns, Breakdown Of Sanity and Demoraliser. Tickets cost £27 + fees.
The Great Escape
The Great Escape (14th - 16th May) Brighton's annual multi-venue extravaganza will take over Brighton in May 2015, with a line-up to be confirmed soon. Tickets available.
Let's Rock the Moor
North West Calling
North West Calling (16th May) Back once again at Manchester's Ritz, the 2015 punk festival will include The Exploited, Angelic Upstarts, UK Subs, GBH, Dirt Box Disco, Chelsea, Control, Ed Banger & The Nosebleeds, Middle Finger Salute and Super Fast Girlie Show. Tickets cost £26.
Bearded Theory Festival

Dot to Dot (22nd - 24th May) returns to Manchester, Bristol and Nottinghamshire this spring. Line-up announcement expected soon! Limited early-bird tickets cost £20.
Liverpool SoundCity (22nd - 24th May) has announced a brand new location for 2015 - the historic Bramley Moore Dock. Headliners for 2015 include Belle and Sebastian, The Flaming Lips and The Vaccines, plus Roni Size, Gaz Coombes, Jane Weaver, Dutch Uncles with more to be announced. Day tickets, 3 day tickets and VIP tickets are available from £30 per day, £50 for 3 days and £45/ £65 for VIP day/ 3 day tickets.
Ireby Festival (22nd - 23rd May) in Cumbria with Cara Dillon, CoCo and the Butterfields, Annabelle Chvostek, Kathryn Roberts, Police Dog Hogan, Phillip Henry And Hannah Martin, Wilful Missing, Sean Lakeman and more to be announced.
Common People (23rd - 24th May) is Southampton's newest addition to its music calendar and comes from the team that brings you Bestival every year. Fatboy Slim, Clean Bandit, De La Soul, Jaguar Skills, Band of Skulls, George the-Poet and loads more to be confirmed. On sale now, £55 for the weekend!
Slam Dunk Festival
Slam Dunk Festival (23rd - 25th May) returns for 2015 with North (Leeds), South (Hertfordshire) and Midlands (Wolverhampton) varieties. The 2015 line-up is to be announced - early-bird tickets now on sale.
Wychwood Festival (29th - 30th May) in Gloucestershire with Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey, plus The Proclaimers, Ghostpoet, Dreadzone, Electric Swing Circus, Fickle Friends, Rusty Shackle and more. Tickets available.

Isle of Wight Festival (11th - 14th Jun) The iconic festival returns with a 2015 featuring headliners Fleetwood Mac on the Sunday night, plus Counting Crows, Kodaline, Billy Idol, Kool & the Gang, Pharrell Williams, The Black Keys, The Prodigy, Paolo Nutini, You Me At Six, First Aid Kit, Jessie Ware, Jess Glynne and more across the weekend. Barclaycard British Summer Time in Hyde Park
Barclaycard British Summer Time in Hyde Park (26th and 27th Jun) in London with The Who, Paul Weller, Johnny Marr and Kaiser Chiefs on the Friday, Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding, John Newman and more on the Saturday. Tickets cost £69 for the Who, £55 for Taylor Swift.
Love Supreme Jazz Festival

Ramblin' Man Fair (25th - 26th Jul) New for 2015, Kent's Rambling man will feature The Scorpions, Marillion, Camel, Gregg Allman, Pendragon, The Pineapple Thief and more in Mote Park, Maidstone. Tickets available.
Standon Calling (31st Jul - 2nd Aug) in Hertfordshire with Basement Jaxx headlining the Sunday night, with many more to be announced. Tickets range from £117.50 to £147 - spread across four tiers. Once one's gone, they move up to the next price point.
Belladrum Festival (6th - 8th Aug) in Inverness with The Proclaimers installed as the Thursday night headliners. More names for the Tartan Heart will be announced shortly.
Wilderness (6th - 9th Aug) 2014's festival in Oxfordshire featured London Grammar, Burt Bacharach, Metronomy, Sam Smith, Gregory Porter and more. Early bird tickets now available for the 2015 event.
Bloodstock (6th - 9th Aug) in Derbyshire with Rob Zombie, Overkill, Ensiferum, Within Temptation, Sepultura, Opeth, Cannibal Corpse, Belphegor, 1349, Orange Goblin and more. Early bird tickets cost £120 for the weekend.

V Festival (21st - 23rd Aug) in Essex and Staffordshire. 2015 line-up to be announced in March. The 2014 event featured Justin Timberlake, The Killers, Ed Sheeran, Paolo Nutini, Example, Lily Allen, Elbow and more. Weekend tickets now on sale.
Flashback Festival (21st - 22nd Aug) in Nottinghamshire's Clumber Park. The 2015 event is dubbed "'70s Vs '80s" with Sister Sledge, Boney M, The Real Thing, Hot Chocolate, Odyssey and more representing the '70s and The Human League, Marc Almond, Jason Donovan, Five Star, Toyah and The Doctor (from Dr and the Medics) representing the '80s. Reading Festival (27th - 30th Aug) The line-up for 2015 includes Metallica, Jamie T, Pierce the Veil, Wilkinson, Refused, Run the Jewels, Manchester Orchestra and more. Tickets cost £205 for the weekend.

The Big Feastival (28th - 30th Aug) Early-bird tickets now available for next year's Big Feastival in Oxfordshire. The 2014 festival featured music from Fatboy Slim, Jamie Cullum, Kelis, Norman Jay, Stornoway, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Jack Savoretti and more.

Bingley Music Live (4th - 6th Sep) the 2015 event will need to go some to trump 2014's line-up of Pet Shop Boys, Example, Shed Seven, MNEK, Gaz Coombes, Chloe Howl and more. Tickets now on sale.
Festival No.6 (3rd - 6th Sep) Back for its fourth year, Festival No. 6, set in the beautiful Portmeirion has yet to announce a line-up for 2015. 2014 featured Beck, Pet Shop Boys, London Grammar, Bonobo, Neneh Cherry with Rocketnumbernine, Steve Mason and more. Tickets available.
Bestival (10th - 13th Sep) Early bird tickets now available. The 2015 line-up is to be announced. 2014 featured Outkast, Chic, Foals, Beck, Disclosure, Basement Jaxx and more. From £180.
OnBlackheath (12th - 13th Sep) returns to Blackheath Common in south east London for its second year with a line-up to be announced (2014 featured Massive Attack, Frank Turner, Aloe Blacc, Imelda May and more). Early-bird tickets cost £69 for adult weekend tickets, £35 for under-16s.
Primavera Sound (28th - 30th May) the Barcelona festival has opened its 2015 account with the announcement that the recently-reformed Ride will be on the line-up, playing their only Spanish date of 2015, as well as a humungous line-up starring Underworld, The Black Keys, American Football, Jungle, Patti Smith, Alt-J, Caribou and many more eclectic names. Tickets cost €160 for the weekend.
NOS Primavera Sound
NOS Primavera Sound (4th - 6th Jun) in Porto, Portugal and formerly known as "Optimus Primavera Sound". The 2015 line-up is to be announced. 2014 featured Pixies, Neutral Milk Hotel, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mogwai, John Grant, Pond, Slowdive, Dum Dum Girls, Kendrick Lamar, Darkside and more. Tier 2 early-bird tickets cost €90 for the weekend.
Exit Festival (9th - 12th July) Serbia's music festival is back with a bang for 2015, with Motörhead and Eagles of Death Metal the first bands announced. Early-bird tickets are now sold out, but you can still get hold of tickets for £89 for a limited time.
Bilbao BBK Live
Bilbao BBK Live (9th - 11th Jul) Once again, Bilbao will resonate to the sound of music, which for 2015 - the 10th anniversary - will come from headliners Muse - currently working on their new album plus The Jesus & Mary Chain, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Counting Crows, Future Islands, The Cat Empire, Kodaline, Shaka Ponk, The Ting Tings and many more. Limited early-bird tickets cost £82 for the three days with camping or £76 without.
NOS Alive (9th - 11th Jul) in Lisbon - formerly known as "Optimus Alive", the 2015 event will feature Muse, Alt-J and many more. Tickets cost £44.50 for Thurs - Sat day tickets or £88 for three-day tickets.
Benicàssim (16th - 19th Jul) The major Barcelona music festival based in Benicasim is back. 2015 line-up to be announced shortly. Tickets available.
Off Festival (7th - 9th Aug) The Polish festival returns to Katowice with Run the Jewels, Sunn O))), The Julie Ruin, Girl Band, Jacek Sienkiewicz and more confirmed for 2015. Tickets on sale Monday (2nd February) at 12:15am.
